It’s about that time of the year again, folks. The new iPhone leaks are coming.

As you probably already guessed, the iPhone 11 – assuming that’s even what its name will be – looks pretty similar to the iPhone X and XS, but with a beefier camera on the back. In other words, its biggest selling point looks to be improved camera functionality.

Obtained by Twitter user, OnLeaks, the images aren’t actual product shots, they’re simply renders based on alleged leaks of things like components or case mouldings. You can see more renders in the clip below.

According to Phone Arena, the standard model will have a 5.8-inch display, and the larger Max model will pack a 6.5-inch display. The iPhone XS and XS Max have the same sized screens respectively.

Noted Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, announced last week that both models of the new device would come with a 12 megapixel, three camera system on the back, which would allow for ultra-wide angles and enhanced zoom capabilities.

It’s also noted that the iPhone 11 will be thicker due to a bigger battery and the mute button will be a round slider rather than the horizontal switch it has been for some time.

Of course, we’ll have to wait until Apple’s briefing to confirm any of this, which usually happens around mid-September each year. While some may have been expecting Apple to jump on the folding smartphone bandwagon, in typical fashion, it looks like they’ll be pumping the breaks on that technology for now.

To be fair, that’s probably a smart move at this stage.
