Prime Insty time. Prime ‘stalk your ex’s new girlfriend’ time. Prime ‘find out what that influencer who was maybe on reality TV in 2016 is up to’ time.
The issue on desktop showed up as a 5xx Server Error, while the mobile feed appeared to be working, except when you wanted to refresh or post something. Then it told you it will try again later, which had some people (PEDESTRIAN.TV) panicking that their internet was down, and how will the world be able consume my spicy hot content now?
Instagram have said nothing on Twitter about the outage as yet.
But Aussie Outages, a handy tool if you want to figure out if you’re the only one having troubles with an online platform, reckon the issue started at 5.16pm this arvo, affecting at least 1000 people who NEED the ‘Gram now. The social photo sharing platform came back mere minutes ago.
Australia’s not the only one who suffered the Great October Instagram Outage 2K18, with Britain‘s The Independent reporting that the west coast of the US and northern Europe also copped it.
Everyone flooded to Twitter to complain about the issue.
