Fortnite Disappeared Into A Black Hole & Fans Have Been Staring Into The Void For Hours

Millions of gamers were in for a huge shock this morning when the hit game Fortnite disappeared into a digital black hole.

At around 6am on Monday, all elements of the game simply disappeared during a live-stream event, leaving fans confused and concerned.

The game’s Twitch account and Twitter were cleared, with only one tweet of a black hole livestream. As of the time this article was published, we’re all still just staring at a black hole on the screen.

Fans are convinced this is the start of a brand new chapter of the game, marking its 11th season. The game currently has a whopping 250 million players, so of course, the internet went crazy when the black hole sucked up the game that’s taken over the world.

The event was dubbed “The End”, so it’s pretty fitting that all elements of the game were literally sent into a black hole, leaving fans to question whether or not this really was the end of the game.

However, a series of random numbers started appearing around the black hole throughout the stream, assumably making some sort of code.

11, 146, 15, 62, 87, 14, 106, 2, 150, 69, 146, 15, 36, 2, 176, 8, 160, 65

So, what the fuck does it mean? I feel like I’m trying to break some sort of super-secret government code, not a damn video game.

Obviously, Epic Games aren’t just going to delete the game from existence, it’s assumed that when Fortnite is back up and running players will be transported into the next chapter with new features and maybe even a new map.

There are hundreds of theories circulating the internet about what the code might mean, but rather than trying to speculate what a bunch of video game developers are planning, I thought I’d share some of the best reactions to the situation. I mean, what else do Fortnite fans have to do with their time while the game server is down? Of course they’re going to make some funny tweets.
