Fortnite maker, Epic Games, is giving away a free game every two weeks until the end of the year as part of its effort to build up a user base for its new online store. Starting today, you can get the amazing What Remains of Edith Finch for absolutely bloody nothing.

The offer is only for PC and is accessible via the Epic Games launcher app, which is available to download from its website right here. You’ll just need to sign up for an account and then you’re free to download the game which is yours to keep. Hell yeah.

What Remains of Edith Finch was released in 2017 and received incredibly positive reviews from gamers and critics alike. It’s a narrative-driven experience which is fairly short in length, but amazing nonetheless. Also, it’s fucking free, dude, just give it a go.

The first title Epic gave away was the incredibly good survival game, Subnautica, which I’m currently obsessed with. The second was Indie Game the Movie star, Super Meat Boy, which was free up until yesterday.

Epic Games has been making huge plays in the PC gaming space recently, which will no doubt have Steam owners, Valve, pretty worried. Along with the constant stream of free titles, Epic will also be selling Ubisoft‘s The Division 2, along with other big games dropping this year.

A free game just in time for the weekend. How good.
