The beloved action flick, Die Hard, is coming to the gaming world, but not in the way you might be thinking. Rather than entering the 3D realm (again), the movie will soon be coming to you in board game form.

It’s called Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist Board Game and according to Polygon, it will be a “one-versus-many asymmetric experience”. Not much more is known about how the gameplay will work, but it certainly sounds like one person gets to be John McClane and everyone else gets to fuck with him. Cool.
The Nakatomi Heist is made by OP Games, which also creates licensed versions of classic board games like Monopoly and Clue, among others, so the project is certainly in good hands. This game, however, looks to be a completely original concept.
The box art mockup also looks dope as hell, which you can see below.
More details are expected to be announced before the game launches this Autumn. There’s no word on a price just yet, but it’ll be available through “select retailers”. While it might not make it to Australia straight away, I’d wager you’ll be able to order it through an international online store pretty easily.
Yippy ki yay, motherfucker.
