That’s right, folks, the critically acclaimed RPG will hit the Switch on the 19th of October, which isn’t that far away at all when you think about it. You’ll also be able to pick up a Solaire of Astora Amiibo on the same day if you’re into that sort of thing, which unlocks the Praise the Sun gesture in the game.

Originally released in 2011, Dark Souls is a dread-soaked adventure that’s as difficult as it is fun. If you haven’t played it yet, this seems like the perfect way to experience it. It also won a number of awards including Game Informer‘s Best Boss Fights and Famitsu‘s Award of Excellence.

If you’re not planning on hitting up the Nintendo version, Dark Souls Remastered is currently available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
