Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, presenting gamers with a sci-fi RPG of unprecedented scale. But in a world so detailed and overwhelmingly vast, not everything can be perfect. Case in point: one gamer appears to have found a NSFW glitch which shows a character’s junk flopping out of their jeans.

Twitter user @FiskyBizniz shared a Cyberpunk 2077 clip on Thursday, showing a character nonchalantly letting their thang swang around. If you’re not crash hot on ogling a computer-generated dick, I’d advise you look away now:

Cyberpunk 2077 has a detailed character customisation system, which allows players to select their character’s genitalia, and, as noted by Kotaku Australia’s Alex Walker, the game also allows players to run around stark naked.

However, this precise pants-and-peen combo does not appear intentional. Instead, it seems to be one of many small and frequently funny bugs strewn across the game.

@FiskyBizniz also shared a clip which appears to show a glitch in the game’s piss-on-wall animation, with a stream of urine flowing from a character well after they’ve fixed up their shorts.

Love it.

In a piece describing his overall impressions of Cyberpunk 2077, Walker said, “NPCs have full-body experiences with vending machines and others occasionally glitch and reset on the street corner”.

He also described the moment a character’s cigarette hovered in mid-air during a cutscene. Regardless, “the sheer volume and variety of Night City’s inhabitants walking past is a treat,” he said.

This combination of factors – extreme size and technical mastery, combined with minor bugs – has been noted by many early reviews of the game.

In his review, PC Gamer’s James Davenport called Cyberpunk 2077 “a pretty good RPG in an amazing setting absolutely sick with bugs,” while IGN’s Tom Marks mirrored Walker’s cigarette commentary: “I’ve had important or emotional conversations undermined by the characters I was talking to glitching between incorrect poses, or the objects they were holding and referencing not load in at all,” he said.

It will take a while for players to really get a feel for the game, given how brain-smashingly large it is. But we can rest easy for now, knowing that Cyberpunk 2077 is already pumping out the unintentional comedy.
