Bing, Which Still Exists, Had To Photoshop A Giant Schlong Off The Homepage

In the long, sordid history of search engines – folks, we’re talkin’ ’bout AltaVista or Yahoo or Yahooligans or AskJeeves or even bloody Infoseek – Microsoft’s red-headed child Bing is the non-Google category search engine that has persisted the hardest.

As far as aesthetics goes, Bing sure is pretty as hell; the website’s homepage utilises a different, high-res, beautifully shot photo of a random vista – an alta vista if you will rimshot dot gif. And today’s was certainly no exception.

Cop this gorgeous satellite view of the beach at Brač Island in Croatia.

Absolutely stunning. Magnificent. Truly god’s country.

But… hang on. What… what is that… shape? In the sand?

Enhance.

Enhance.

ENHANCE.

Yes, folks. In Microsoft’s infinite wisdom they somehow managed to overlook the giant schlong that someone had carved into the sand.

I don’t know how you’d overlook something like this, but I assume it’s hard.

Man, the programmer who missed this one really ballsed it up.

Though it is a minor error; no need for anyone to get the shaft.

Additional cock and balls reference.

Rather than own their phallic discovery, developers at Bing quickly Photoshopped the offending wang out of the photo and continued on as normal.

But the internet never forgets a dick.

Not now. Not ever.
