This 21 Y.O. Nerd Just Made The World’s Largest Game Boy & Givvus A Turn

There are some pretty cooked Guinness World Records out there, but every now and then one of them is absurdly huge. Literally.

Belgian student Ilhan Ünal has constructed the largest functional Game Boy in existence, measuring three feet tall and two feet wide. The 21-year-old says it can play all of the classic games released on the handheld device back in the ’80s. Fuck yeah.

“The Game Boy was a huge part of many people’s childhood, including my own,” he said in a press release. “I was obsessed with my Game Boy as a kid, so I wanted to create something that would put a smile on little Ilhan’s face, and hopefully on the face of anyone who is a big kid at heart.”

You can check him and his monstrous Game Boy out in the video below.

It took old mate a month to create and looks like a blast to play, albeit, much harder than the original. I mean, did you see him pressing the buttons? It takes your whole damn hand.

Ünal’s creation appears in the recently released Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2018.
