Here’s Some More Ridiculous Gameplay Footage From ‘Beyond Good & Evil 2’

Beyond Good & Evil 2 has become one of the most anticipated games for this year’s E3 conference, and while it’s still a while off release, folks sure are hungry for more info on the title.

Unveiled at last year’s E3, the game is shaping up to be a space pirate adventure on an absolutely mammoth scale. In the lead up to Ubisoft‘s conference in June, the company has been releasing a series of short clips detailing different stages of development.

The latest video offers a look at gameplay and character movement in the world, which is promised to feature seamless travel throughout an entire fucking solar system. The team stresses that this footage is pre-alpha, meaning it’s still very much a work in progress. Even so, it’s looking good as hell.

While we don’t know a lot about the story at this point, it looks like there’ll be a huge co-op component to the game, with the team explaining a new mechanic that will keep you from losing your mates in the enormous open world.

The title will also feature a few different types of gameplay, like battles between larger ships, dogfights with smaller vehicles, and boots-on-the-ground combat. There’s no release window for Beyond Good & Evil 2 just yet, but Ubisoft is set to reveal more at E3 in June.
