Another year, another iPhone drop. Apple officially announced the hotly-anticipated iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo earlier this morning, and the internet is already buzzing. If you've been waiting for the ball to drop so you can finally upgrade your rickety old iPhone 11 to a properly functioning piece of technology, the time has finally come. You'll also be pleased to know that a bunch of phone accessory brands have already released a bunch of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max cases, too.
The new iPhone 18 Pro doesn't officially come out until Friday September 18, with pre-orders opening the week before on September 12 at 10PM AEST.
If you want to go a little left-of-field and try the brand new iPhone Duo — the foldable iPhone that's dividing the Apple's community — pre-orders open the following month on October 16, with an October 23 release date. There are a couple cases available to buy directly on Apple, but other retailers haven't cracked the code on how to nail a foldable case just yet.
Brands like Casetify, Burga and Wildflower are rolling out their best-sellers in sizes for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, so you can turn to your favourite brands for your shiny new case. If you need a little inspo, we've rounded up our favourite colourful designs and protective styles so you can click your brand new phone into its safety net the moment you unbox it.
All these designs are compatible with any iPhone model (or Samsung, if that’s your phone of choice and you’re just here for a fun time), so you can just select which phone you want it for and add it to your cart!
The best iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max phone cases you can buy right now
Apple iPhone 18 cases
Of course, we have to start with the creator of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max! Apple nails the simple but sturdy look, and has silicone, woven and MagSafe options for your shiny new device. If anyone knows how to protect your new phone, it's the brand who birthed the thing.

Casetify iPhone 18 cases
The other arguably most popular brand for phone cases these days is Casetify. This tech accessories label has made a name for itself by making phone cases that are just as protective as they are stylish. They've been my personal go-to since I bought my first ever iPhone way back in the day, a cutesy rose gold iPhone 7, and have never let me down since!

Wildflower iPhone 18 cases
If you were around during peak Tumblr era, Wildflower Cases probably had a chokehold on you, too. They have a bunch of fun, girly designs with a solid black border that keeps your phone nice and safe while you're out and about.

Polka Dot, $57

Olivia Neill, $57
Burga iPhone 18 cases
What started out as a teeny tiny Balkin phone accessories brand from Lithuania has since grown to a globally-recognised company crafting some of the most dually aesthetic and protective cases on the market. Burga has a hugeee range of iPhone cases varying in toughness, so you can pick one to suit your budget. They're certainly not the cheapest, but they do a damn good job at keeping your phone safe.

Otterbox iPhone 18 cases
If you prefer to keep your phone case's look simple and focus on the practicalities instead, look no further than Otterbox. These guys do some pretty neat accessories, including cases with in-built ring holders and wrist straps so you never drop it.

Are there any Apple iPhone Duo cases?
Last but not least, if you're thinking of straying from the traditional iPhone look and going for the iPhone duo, you're gonna need a case to protect it. After all, there's double the precious screen at stake. Apple is the only brand to have released any options so far, but Burga and Casetify both have a waitlist so you can know when their ranges drop.

Now good luck for September 12 when pre-orders open! I'll be right there in the queue with ya.
