The ‘Battlefield V’ Battle Royale Has 17 Vehicles Including A Big Red Tractor

After some leaks of Battlefield V‘s battle royale game mode, Firestorm, emerged recently, EA has finally dropped an official trailer, and it’s absolutely packed with vehicles.

While the concept of driving shit around in battle royale games isn’t anything new, the ability to do it in a wide variety of vehicles certainly is. There are a total of 17 different vehicles you can man in Firestorm, including a big red tractor towing a goddamn canon.

There’s a “prototype helicopter,” a sick amphibious car, a variety of tanks, and more for you and your team to get around the map in. Destructible buildings will also feature in the mode as they do in the rest of the game.

Otherwise, all of the standard battle royale fare is there: a number of players/teams skydive into a map with a play area which decreases in size, herding players together in a fight for survival. EA says the Firestorm map is the biggest in the franchise’s history.

As the name suggests, the circle in this instance is a big firey, uh, storm. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.

You’ll be able to revive teammates who get knocked down but in an interesting twist, you can also fire a sidearm as a “last act of defence”. I’m not entirely sure if this is applicable to everyone or just the last member of your team alive, but I guess we’ll see.

Firestorm will be available to all Battlefield V players from March 25.
