You Can Camp Under The Stars At This Chic Pop-Up In A VIC National Park

There are two types of people in this world: people who love camping, and people who loathe it.
If you’re the latter, a new glamping experience that’s popping up in Victoria‘s v. picturesque Grampians National Park might be just the thing to change your mind about that whole pissing-in-a-pot thing. Mostly because it’s about as luxurious a vacay as one can get while getting intimate with Mother Nature.
For five weeks from March 31, one of Australia’s oldest olive groves will open as a pop-up glamping hotel run by Under Sky, who supply luxury bell tents to a bunch of Aussie festivals.
Just 14 tents will be pitched for maximum exclusivity, each one kitted out with a queen-size bed dressed in dreamy linen by Melbourne brand Hunting for George, woven rugs, wooden furnishings and toiletries, as well as an Esky to keep your booze you’ll drink to toast spectacular mountain sunsets / sunrises nice and chilled.
If you want to incorporate elements of the traditional camping experience, there’s a communal fire pit and dining area where you can cook for yourself with organic meat, milk, eggs, bread, olives etc. etc available at the cute on-site general store.
If not, you can pre-order a dope breakfast hamper from the Mount Zero café, which will serve up hot breakfasts and lunch for the duration of the pop-up.
Worried you’ll get bored? Not in the Grampians. You can day trip ’til your heart’s content, rock climbing, hiking (Under Sky will even pack you lunch-to-go) and visiting local wineries.
It’s a money-can’t-buy experience given the campsite is set on private property owned by the local family the Seymours, who may not feel as generous next year.
You can reserve a tent HERE (prices start at a v. reasonable $190 per night, per tent) and start envisioning yourself star-gazing a million miles away from city lyf.
