Weddings are the best, but often they require outfits that you simply don’t own. Like floor-length formal dresses. Or strappy smart-casual skirt/top combos. But a winter wedding is absolutely the hardest one to dress for – you need to be warm, but also able to shrug off layers for dancing later in the night. Dress code appropriate, but also comfortable. It’s a tough one.

Luckily you have me – trawler of the internet and knower of things. Usually. I’m going to a lovely winter wedding this year, so I’ve used my search history to compile some excellent winter wedding outfits.

As a side note, you’ll obviously need a jacket – that’s why I’ve picked dresses, co-ords and pant suits that work back with big coats. The trick is to wear something warm-yet-light, and team it with a luxe faux fur jacket or wool coat, you know?
