Beyoncé is currently on the ruddy enormous ‘Formation Tour’, photos and gifs of which are currently driving us absolutely mad with jealousy. MAD, WE TELLS YA.
She did a huge show as part of the tour in St Louis over the weekend, and as well as hours of Bey goodness, the audience were also privy to a super special moment involving Bey’s backup dancers.
Half way through her rendition of ‘Single Ladies’ complete with two back up dancers á la the iconic music video, Bey stops halfway through to hand the microphone to ‘Formation Tour’ creative director John Silver who has walked up behind her on to the stage.
He then walks over to Bey’s dance captain Ashley Everett and embraces her, saying,
“She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown!”
He then gets down on one knee and proposes to her in front of thousands of screaming members of the #Beyhive.

APPARENTLY, after the celebration cuddles on stage, Bey says to Ashley,
“Now let’s see you do the choreography after that!”
But hey – she did it.
The dancer took to Instagram after the show was over, saying she was “still wrapping her head around” the evening:
