Tom Ford is set to star in his first ever documentary, which takes a candid look at his professional and personal life.
Visionaries: Tom Ford will screen on Oprah Winfrey‘s new network, OWN, and details, among other things, what made the legendary designer decide to come back to fashion after famously leaving his plum job as creative director of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent back in 2004: “It was pretty gruelling; I was doing 16 collections a year and shuttling back and forth between [the two fashion houses] and thought ‘I’m not going to come back to this unless I can come back the way I want to, in a way that changes the system so that I can have fun with it again.’” He also makes some great comments about pumped up culture, with specific references to boobs and lips, but we’ll let you watch that one for yourself:
