WATCH: Pauline On ‘ACA’ Is Even More Of A Racist Disaster Than You’d Expect

If there’s one thing to be said about Pauline Hanson, its that she’s certainly stubbornly consistent, even when it comes to some of her more certifiably batshit takes. To the point that even white outrage merchants A Current Affair are taken aback.

Pauline, who shot back to power on the back of repeated appearances on Sunrise, did the HARD-HITTING INTERVIEW we all wanted with Tracy Grimshaw on ACA, and yes: it was very racist, as you might expect.
In it, Pauline argues that its irrelevant that Muslims might just want a normal life in Australia, as she personally cannot tell the the difference between a Muslim and a terrorist. Bonus points for the repeated cuts to Grimshaw’s wide-eyed face as Pauline rhapsodised on how Muslims ruin quiet, peaceful Australian suburbs.

Asked if she believed there were any “good Muslims” living in Australia – classic ACA question there – Pauline responded in classic Pauline fashion.

“I believe there are some that want to live a good life and a quiet life,” she says in the video. “But you tell me — you line up a number of Muslims, who’s the good one?”

Obviously this is an indicator of the kind of approach Hanson wants to take to Australia. This isn’t a question of integration, or reforming multiculturalism, or providing a kind of structure to enhance civil society and mend the social fabric of Australia. This is about a radical ideology which holds that Islam in any form cannot exist within Australia.
Considering the fact that it feels like every One Nation candidate eventually gets booted to the kerb for writing insane blogs about Port Arthur being stagedripping into single mums or claiming that vaccines are a globalist conspiracy to make kids gay, one might wonder whether the Australia proposed by Pauline and her motley crew is actually far less pleasant than the one we’ve got right now. Just a thought.
For her part, Pauline doesn’t think that she’ll form any kind of government this election cycle, but she’s got her eye on the prize for the future. “I do [have the capacity to form government] … but look, it won’t be at this election.”

God help us.
