Liam Gilmour is a Melbourne-based DOP who you might remember for his stunning work on last year’s hauntingly ambient, black and white noise video for Orri Henrisson’s A/W2011 range. He’s also the man behind the lens on the new fashion film for also Melbourne-based designers of beautiful travelling garments, Obüs.
In addition to Gilmour, the film was written, directed and photographed by Peter Ryle and Tomas Friml. Dubbed ‘The Traveller,’ it’s another stunning exercise in the wonder of digital 35mm cameras that’ll make your feet itch and change your mind about the beauty of a departure lounge forever. I want to go to there.
