Watch Ksubi Kolors Film By Daniel Askill

To launch their new coloured denim range (‘aptly titled ‘Kolors’) Ksubi have opted for a short film shot by Australian director Daniel Askill. The short is like a strange and beautiful operatic Mad Max -post-Mel Gibson. Featuring the balletic leaps of three denim-adorned models charging at a set of vintage Fords amidst plummets of red, yellow and blue smoke the result is a mesmerising visual treat.

Shot on a Phantom camera at 1500 frames per second (i.e very slow motion), we are able to witness every minute muscle movement, twitch and rib-wobble of the charging models Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Cisco Gorrow and Heidi Harrington-Johnson. It’s probably a good thing then that Mel Gibson does not feature in this film…
