WATCH: Bloke Desperately Tries To Stop A Cruise Ship Crushing His Mansion

In a time of growing income inequality and housing stress, I can think of no greater or more satisfying expression of justice than an enormous yacht called the Celebrity Equinox plowing into some dude’s multimillion dollar waterfront home.
That didn’t quite happen, but it very nearly did. The 122,000-tonne vessel nearly slammed into Bill and Yasmine Todhunter‘s $2.9 million Florida home as Bill frantically waved his arms telling the ship to stop.

The ship ended up stopping about 100 feet from the house, at which point Bill can be heard to yell “Someone’s going to get fired for this.”

The ship ended its approach to the house when its front thrusters visibly engaged, bringing it to a slow, lurching stop.
Royal Caribbean Cruises denied that the ship was going to crash into the home, and argued that it was in its designated channel at all times. “The ship operated safely and did not put guests or crew at risk. We can also confirm the ship did not touch bottom,” the company said in a statement.
Bill, ever the Illuminati conspiracist, doubted the company’s claims, arguing it did run aground based on the amount of filthy water the thrusters were throwing up. “So you know that there’s 25 feet of ship below the waterline, and so it’s obviously touching bottom,” he said.
Please: pray for the Todhunters and their $2.9 million house.
