We’re inching closer to the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, also known as the time I lie on the couch munching on chips with my mouth open and loudly whinge about how my stomach will never be as toned as Taylor Hill’s.
This year, it seems the insanely massive lingerie brand are pulling out all the stops – and it’s not just about who’s on the runway and what wings/4 bazillion dollar bras are being waltzed down it. Nope, they’ve gone for a whopper of a curve ball – their first collab with a high fashion brand.
The brand that’ll be making what will no doubt be some fire lingerie for VS is none other than French fashion house and style darling Balmain.

The brand’s really been ramping up the collabs of late – you might recall their H&M capsule collection a couple of years back, and they’ve got a L’Oreal Paris makeup one dropping early next year.
The announcement was officially made on the Victoria’s Secret Instagram account via one of those annoying 400 post “and it makes one whole picture!” spams.
The last image gives us a drop date of 29th November, the day after the VS Fashion Show – which means we’ll no doubt be seeing the collection on the runway.
Given Creative Director Olivier Rousteing‘s penchant for everything studded, bedazzled and bold as hell, we’re imagining this will be HELL sexy and not remotely girly-feminine. Balmain also goes in heavy on the details, so maybe we’ll be seeing some more affordable versions of those diamond-encrusted bras VS always has every year.
Whatever the case we are heeeere for it.
