As Melburnians with 50 shades of grey sweaters to choose from revel in what Fairfax hilariously describes as a “Japanese Normcore giant”, the closest Sydneysiders have gotten is browsing from their computer screens. Until now.
That’s right: Uniqlo will set up shop in Sydney next month.
Opening on Pitt Street Mall (150 Pitt Street to be exact), Uniqlo’s first dedicated Sydney pop up store will operate from 10am daily May 3rd – September 30th carrying the type of luscious v-neck sweaters, plain jeans and duck down vests that make it okay to be a basic bitch.
