Donald Trump Jr is basically, the living, walking embodiment of not helping. Apart from using his time to say that he has absolutely zero contact with his father as he takes over the family business and therefore avoids any conflict of interest, he also focuses on making moronic tweets.
After this morning’s awful terror attack in London, which left four dead and over 20 injured, Trump took to the tweets to dig into Mayor Sadiq Khan for an old interview in which he allegedly said that “terror attacks are part of living in big city”.
You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan https://t.co/uSm2pwRTjO

Surely no reason why Trump would dig up a 6-month-old interview literally hours after an attack, right? People immediately jumped onto him for politicising the attack:
@DonaldJTrumpJr Go fuck yourself. As a Londoner who lived through the IRA, anti gay nail bombings and 7/7, this is not the time to be cock.

@DonaldJTrumpJr Seriously, delete this nonsense before it gets you into a world of trouble, you fucking idiot.

@DonaldJTrumpJr @Independent learn to read the article not just the headline you tangerine goblin spawn
— TechnicallyRon (@TechnicallyRon) March 22, 2017
Any close read of the article Trump just casually posted would show that this wasn’t what Khan said. He wasn’t suggesting that Londoners just suck it up and get over it. He was saying that they were “part and parcel” of living in a big city, and that Londoners had to be vigilant.
“That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but it also means exchanging ideas and best practice.”
@DonaldJTrumpJr You use a terrorist attack on our city to attack London’s Mayor for your own political gain. You’re a disgrace.
