Trump Accuses Obama Of Being The Evil Mastermind Behind White House Leaks

It’s no secret that Trump‘s White House has been leaking like a sieve recently – with just about every mishap, gaffe and dispute being immediately fed to reporters from somewhere. Even White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer‘s desperate attempts to control the leaks have immediately leaked, which generally implies that the information security ain’t tip top.

In an interview with Fox & Friends, Trump laid the blame for the culture of leaking in his administration squarely on the shoulders of Barack Obama, whom he also blamed for the protests across the United States.

Speaking on Obama’s role, Trump was pretty clear:
I think that President Obama is behind it because his people certainly are behind it. In terms of him being behind things, that’s politics. It will probably continue. I think he is behind it. I also think it’s politics. That’s the way it is.
He’s certainly right insofar as there are likely Obama-era appointees still floating around the corridors of power who probably hate working under Trump – but surely that’s as much his issue for being unable to properly vet who gets what information and when. Every president has to deal with legacy hires.
Trump also went on to say that though he would give himself an A for achievement, he admitted that he’d probably only give himself a C or C+ for communication. In other words, his government has been absolutely kicking goals, but his weird disjointed rants aren’t properly conveying that to the American people. Of course.

There you have it. You can probably expect the behind-the-scenes details of this interview, including exactly how angry Trump was and at whom, to leak basically instantly.
