Tommy Hilfiger Drops Collection Specifically Designed For People W/ Disabilities

When Tommy Hilfiger released a line of adaptive clothing for children with disabilities last year, it was met with huge praise. The Tommy Adaptive collection featured a range of pieces designed to be easy to wear, as well as adjustable.

Now, Tommy Hilfiger has expanded the range for their menswear and womenswear lines.

“Inclusivity and the democratisation of fashion have always been at the core of my brand’s DNA,” Hilfiger said in a statement to CNN. “These collections continue to build on that vision, empowering differently abled adults to express themselves through fashion.”

The campaign for the collection features a range of famous folks, from Paralympian Jeremy Campbell to dancer Chelsie Hills, all showcasing the unique elements of the pieces that make them ideal for people with disabilities.

Those features? Things such as magnetic buttons and adjustable hems.

The collection, like their first kids line, is in partnership with Runway Of Dreams, a charity that promotes people with disabilities in the fashion industry.

The collection seems to only be available on the US site currently, but here’s hoping it makes it’s way to Aussie shores stat!
