Rimmel London not only has great, affordable makeup, but it also has its finger on the pulse of who we would all like to see advertising it. The new faces of the brand will be the doe-eyed singer and actress Zooey Deschanel, and Beyonce’s slightly cooler sister, Solange Knowles.
There is also Alejandra Ramos Munoz, but she’s a model so it’s not nearly as exciting.
The three will join Kate Moss, Georgia May Jagger and Coco Rocha as brand spokeswomen.
According to WWD, the company is thrilled to welcome the new faces, and Bernd Beetz, Coty Inc’s chief executive officer gloated, “Zooey, Solange and Alejandra each bring a distinct look and personality to Rimmel London, expanding the brand’s visibility and strengthening Coty’s global color platform.”
Whilst the brand is usually advertised by Brit It-girls like Kate Moss, Lily Cole, and Sophie Ellis Bextor, a few good-looking Yanks never hurt anyone. Especially when they’re cupcakes to the eyes like Zooey and Solange.
