It seems only natural that hugely successful (not to mention stunning) Texan model Erin Wasson would end up just as successful trying her luck as a fashion designer.
Wasson, who has graced the covers of countless magazines including French, Australian, German and Spanish Vogue, Numero, Elle and Esquire, has decided to combine her two loves in her design debut †Erin Wasson X RVCA’ for Spring 2010.
Set against a desert-esque backdrop with a live set from Gang Gang Dance providing beats for the ponies the collection screamed Wasson, whose own style is a delightful combination of bohemian, grunge and a lot of vintage. Think ripped up denim cut-off shorts with billowy over-sized singlet’s and of-the-moment, dusty blue jumpsuits.
As to be expected with Wasson behind the collection, there were a bevy of A-list beauties both backstage and front row including Irina Lazareau, Harley Viera Newton, Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen, The Selby and pal Cobra Snake.
Her next project? A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance as a party girl in Sofia Coppola’s upcoming movie, †Somewhere’.
