The Sydney Jewish Museum in Darlinghurst has been evacuated following a bomb threat.
NSW Police confirmed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that a police operation is underway at the Darlinghurst Road museum and that a threat had been made. “The building is being evacuated by police as a precaution while the area is searched,” a spokesperson said.
The Jewish News Twitter account tweeted images of a heavy police presence outside the centre.

Dozens of Jewish centres in the United States have been evacuated over the past month following hoax bomb threats, with up to 27 different centres across 17 states receiving threats in just one day.
