Spotify CEO Mourns Death Of Executive Killed In Stockholm Truck Attack

A Spotify executive was among four people killed in a truck attack in Stockholm on Friday, the streaming service’s founder has confirmed.

41-year-old Briton Chris Bevington died following the “senseless attack,” writes Daniel Ek, who took to Facebook to make the announcement.

Ek writes that Bevington, who worked as the company’s head of global partnerships and business development, “had a great impact on not just the business but on everyone who had the privilege to know and work with him.”

“There are no words for how missed he will be or for how sad we all are to have lost him like this.”
Bevington was a married father of two.

Two Swedes and a Belgian were killed in the attack, which left a further 15 injured. Ten remain in hospital, and four of them are in a serious condition.

As it stands, two people have been arrested in relation to the attack.
