Sophomore designer Chrissie Miller presents a relaxed street-inspired Spring 2010 collection though a video trailer and lookbook courtesy of longtime collaborator Cass Bird. As per usual, the bright young things on display are a collection of Miller’s friends, socialites and various downtown creatives who all share a modicum of fame and the ability to look good in denim cutoffs.
Roll Call y’all. The video follows writer Leslie Arfin, Donald Cumming of The Virgins and artist Lucien Marc Smith (among others) who talk shit and hang out with other people much cooler than you and your friends. Then it’s all fireworks, boardwalks, fairy floss and rickety roller-coasters in the comfiest basics we’ve ever laid eyes on.
