Seeing Is Believing: Melbourne’s Jam Factory Topshop Visualised

Melbourne’s iconic Jam Factory, the sweet and sticky heart of the Chapel Street retail and entertainment precinct, is set for a $16 million revamp over the next twelve months to accommodate the arrival of Australia’s first outlet of British high-street fashion juggernaut Topshop (audible screaming).

With over 750 outlets worldwide in 32 countries, the concept store will house both cash-friendly Topshop and man-friendly counterpart Topman, and is expected to open its doors prior to the completion of the rest of the refurbishment in time for Christmas 2011.

In the meantime Melbournites, start counting your pennies and get familiar with this lovingly rendered artist’s impression of what is soon to become your new go-to destination for affordable high-street Kate-Moss-Christopher-Kane-Hussein-Chalayan-endorsed goodness.
