Romance Was Born unleash an explosion of candy colours inspired by fiction’s sultan of sugar himself Willy Wonka. For their Spring/Summer 2012-13 pre-collection the design team Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales turned to Roald Dahl’s unhinged chocolate factory proprietor to inform the psychedelic swirls of colour and acid trip prints by artist Stephen Bush covering the sharply tailored, chic silhouettes of the designs.
The pre-collection pieces include the Nicki Minaj endorsed ‘acid boob swirl body suit’, modeled here on our favourite up and coming Australian model Ollie Henderson who makes one hell of an Oompa-Loompa.
