What’s the dream life to you? Is it… unlimited pizza delivered to you for the rest of your life, that somehow doesn’t wrap your heart in fat so you die a premature death at 30? 40 puppies greeting you at the door this evening?
Or is it – being able to walk out of your house in a hotel bathrobe and matching hair turban and be accepted in society? Because that’s exactly what Rita Ora just did on the MTV EMA’s red carpet, copping one for the global team of “we want to wear our indoor clothes at black tie events”.
Her robe is actually designer – it’s by newcomer Palomo Spain, a menswear fashion house.
But it is, for all intents and purposes, a bloody bathrobe. Rita’s style team jazzed it up with a shitload of diamonds and some sparkly heels.
She later changed into a shorter version for her EMAs intro – Rita was the host for the event.
Let’s hope this means bath wear will be a legitimate, acceptable fashion trend for next year. Hell, I’m just taking it on as of now – here’s to rocking up to work in ten Shamwow’s stuck together.
