NOT A DRILL: Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Line Is Here & Aussies Get It First

Hold onto your butts, ‘cos Rihanna‘s debut beauty line, Fenty Beauty, is finally here after months and months of delicious teaser vids like this one.

The fact we can now get our grubby mitts on the 91 products that make up the Fenty Beauty collection isn’t even the best part, though; the *best* part is that, unlike most other things, Aussie beauty addicts are the very first in the world to try it.

Yep, RiRi is right this second hosting a schmancy, celeb-studded launch party in NYC so, while the beautiful people are busy celebrating (and, later, sleeping off the champagne hangover) we’re on our little island continent buying up big at exclusive stockist Sephora Australia.

But enough gloating, we hear you say. TELL US ABOUT THE COLLECTION.

Fenty Beauty is huge, product-wise, with a whopping 40 shades of matte foundation (RiRi insisted there be a colour for every skin tone imaginable, even the very hardest to match).

Not only that, but each of the 1,600 stores that’ll stock Fenty Beauty around the world will carry every single shade of the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, meaning that the lightest of lights and darkest of darks are available no matter where you live.

Then there’s the universal Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer, 30 magnetic Match Stix Skinsticks – in both matte and shimmer finishes to contour, correct, conceal, highlight and blush – 6 cream-powder Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters for face and eyes, the Invisimatte Blotting Powder and Paper (it’s designed like a mini cling wrap dispenser, so you control the length of paper you use), one lip gloss known as Gloss Bomb and a bunch of cute application tools. All of it wrapped in the signature Fenty Beauty pinky-nude packaging.

The products are designed to give everyone the tools to recreate RiRi’s photo ready skin, which is always two things: radiant and shine-free (she calls it The Fenty Face, which has a nice ring to it).

After years of production, which saw RiRi conceptualise and sign off on every single product, asking her to pick a favourite is a bit like choosing between kids. But she does have one: the Gloss Bomb, which is the only gloss in the collection because she’s so confident the shade suits everyone.

One of my obsessions is Gloss Bomb. I’m a firm believer that you can’t have a complete face without a lip, and this is a universal lip gloss. It is the perfect, rosy nude tone, and it flatters every skin tone. That was really, really important to me.

You can shop Fenty Beauty at Sephora as of right now, people.
