Rad Hourani Spring 2010

Apparently Rad Hourani’s Spring 2010 collection was too cool for the tents.

Held at Milk Studios in a room flooded with bright white light, the androgynous beauties (men and women with wet-look slicked back hair and square toed heels) stalked their way down the runway in a palette consisting solely of black, white and metal. Not metallic. Metal.

Highlights from the show included slashed leggings (both in leather and steel) and zipped leather jackets with open slits at the elbows, motorcycle vests dripping with chains, zippers used for both function and decoration and bleached white structured jackets and shorts.

As the models made a beeline back down the runway, it became obvious that Hourani put just as much detailing into the backs of his pieces as he did the front.

Punk. Underground. Urban. Polished. Streamline. Industrial. Hot.
