QLD RSPCA Finally Rescue The Poor Kitty Some Bastard Shot With An Arrow

You know, you get to a certain age and you start thinking you have a fair idea of how bad human beings can be. “I’m a cynic,” you tell yourself, “nothing can shock me.”
And then you realise that there’s always a new low to which humanity can stoop. Like shooting a defenceless kitty cat with an ARROW.

It’s okay, it’s okay: the kitty lives.
The injured cat was spotted in the Brisbane suburb of Calumvale yesterday, prompting an RSPCA-led search. Despite being literally skewered on an arrow, the tenacious moggy evaded capture until this afternoon, when it was cornered in a park drain.
RSPCA Queensland metro inspector (and possible Viking?) Yorick Walburgh told the Brisbane Times that the rescue effort was aided by local residents and Queensland Fire and Rescue officers.
Regarding the ginger’s prognosis, he said:
It’s being checked over by the vets and X-rayed to see how much damage the arrow has caused. He seems to be relatively OK, but it’s difficult to tell. The early guess is that (the arrow) hasn’t hit any organs, but they’re still trying to figure that out.”

The search now continues for the monster who thought it was a cool idea to play Legolas on a domestic short-hair. Just FYI: you’re not Legolas, mate. You’re an orc at best.
