QLD Bloke Stabbed In The Stomach For Trying To Wrap Up A Drinking Sesh

It’s believed that a 29-year-old Brisbane man rushed to hospital late last night was stabbed when he asked people having a drink at his house to leave so he could get some rest before starting work in the morning.
Police believe that the man was drinking at his house in Lutwyche with his 33-year-old housemate and two other men. A police spokesperson told the Brisbane Times:
One of them (the victim) said ‘you have to leave because I’m working in the morning’.
It appears that the two visitors weren’t too keen on being asked to wrap up the party. A fight broke out, and it’s believed that one of the men, a 25-year-old, stabbed the 29-year-old several times in the stomach. Three men fled from the scene, but were tracked by the dog squad and are now assisting police with investigations.
The man alleged to have stabbed the poor bloke has been arrested for attempted murder, and will appear in court on Thursday. The stab victim is recovering from surgery in hospital.
