Preview RUSSH’s NSFW Paean To Pirelli Calendar Maestro Harri Peccinotti

Just in time for Pirelli’s latex heavy calendar season, RUSSH Magazine have cast a lens back over the legendary Harri Peccinotti’s body of work and the bodies that were integral to it for an erotically charged #tbt retrospective – one that underscores the stark contrasts between the industry in Peccinotti’s time (the very liberal 1960s) and the almost more prudish one we think we know today.

RUSSH #61 – ‘The Pleasure Issue – is peppered with Peccinotti’s characteristically uninhibited insights on everything from the state of publishing at the time (“Women’s magazines were pretty basic at the time. They were really about how to knit and cook and all of that. They sort of talked down to women, and so the idea was to make Nova a more intellectual magazine for women“) to the women who were immortalised in front of his lens (“In those days you used to know models as friends. We’d go drinking together and eating and doing things. Now they fly in from somewhere for an hour or whatever, do the job and fly out. So you never know them“) and is available both online and on all stellar newsstands as of today, Thursday December 4th.
