Prague Street Style Shot By Contiki Insider Martina Vackova (Part Two)

Our Prague-based Contiki Insider Martina Vackova returns for the second instalment in her introductory guide to the young, stylish denizens marching to their own sartorial beat on the cobblestoned streets of picturesque Prague.

Martina, a 25 year old personal style and fashion blogger, cross-fit junkie, paleo devotee and leader of an envious life, snapped the following well-dressed Czechs around the Prague city centre and Wenceslas Square, which she describes as “the touristic, cultural and shopping centre of Prague. There are obviously lot of cheesy shops for tourists, but also lot of nice restaurants and cafés.”

You can check out Martina’s first street style diary here or proceed to devour the on point steez of these P.Y.T.’s at a leisurely pace below.
On her way to shoot a video for a student project, Adela sports a coat and skirt combo from Zara, an eye-popping cerise tartan scarf from Gant, shoes from H&M, and a Parfois bag that’s equal part bucket and tote.
Flame-haired Eva works head-to-steel-capped-toe monochrome with a coat, shoes and bag from Stradivarius. She accessorises with a howling gale, which is doing wonders for her hair as she goes about window shopping.
Withholding the finer details of his outfit, Jan, who Martina spotted on his way to discuss an article he’s writing over a coffee, goes hell for leather with a black-on-black ensemble peppered with chrome details and a Margiela-esque tote.
On the way to record in his studio, Lukas looks enviably snug in a J.Crew coat, ASOS boots and jeans by unflappable denim stalwarts Cheap Monday.
It wouldn’t be a street style post without a Brian Lichtenberg beanie! On his way to meet a friend for coffee – because how else do stylish Europeans wile away the hours? – Martin wears a coat by Zara, gams clad in jeans by Topman, trusty Vans and a bag by Commune de Paris.
In an ASOS coat, American Apparel skirt, Zara sweater, and sporting a bag by Stella McCartney, Martina was spotted by Martina going out for dinner with her boyfriend. Combat boots and perfect hair round out this masterclass in a neutral colour palette.
Yes! Miro, the embodiment of Eastern Bloc Youth in 2013, looks positively nonchalant in a Benetton turtleneck, a two-tone tartan mac by Maison Martin Margiela for H&M and pants also by H&M on his way to meet up with a photographer to choose photos from a recent shoot. It’s all too good, to European to be true.
Nora – who looks a little Leighton Meester-ish, no? – sports a graphic high-waisted skirt from Czech designer Zuzana Kubickova and vintage everything while wheeling her presumably adorable baby in a chic stroller to a macaron making class. What a time to be alive!
In a beguilingly simple but nonetheless highly effective lewk, Simon pairs a vintage coat and sweater with pants and shoes by H&M. He’s also going to record in his studio, the desired pastime for young Czechs, apparently.
Cute alert! Trang sports a coat and shoes from Topshop, adorable utilitarian dungarees by Pull&Bear and a sweatshirt from Zara as she makes her way to buy paints for her art class. Would carry that bag.
