Poll: Julia Gillard vs Kevin Rudd?

There’s something very unsettling about Australia’s current governing body. Approval ratings for the Prime Minister are almost comically low. In fact, polls reveal that the public would prefer ousted leader Kevin Rudd back in the hot seat over the woman who replaced him, the country’s first female PM Julia Gillard.

Right now the Labor Party is flapping like a moth in a chocolate pudding and there’s only one possible way for that scenario to end: the moth dies and the pudding is ruined.

According to the rules of the Senate the government is not required to hold a federal election until the end of 2013 which means (special circumstances notwithstanding) we’re stuck with what we’ve got fellas. Even more unsettling is the fact that there are a number of important issues – the Carbon Tax for one – that the party members can’t even agree on amongst themselves, and there’s a pretty evident lack of loyalty to their leaders…

WHAT’S GONNA HAPPEN TO THE PUDDING???

If we are going to have the ALP lead the country for another couple of years and you HAVE to pick one who would be your preferred Prime Minister: Julia Gillard or Kevin Rudd?
