Parliament Wants Your Help Naming Their Adorable Resident Possum Friend

Some parts of the east coast have been raining bucketloads recently, so the adorable poss has set up camp in a drainpipe (looking very sweet, as possums in rainstorms are wont to do). This afternoon, the official Parliament Twitter page asked their followers to come up with a classic ~Aussie~ name so the little possum has a greater chance of establishing its authority.

Who knows if Parliament will actually go with any of these names (and how would we know if they did, anyway?), but my bet’s on Waleed – a classic name for a bright eyed, bushy tailed animal that’ll go down a right treat with most of the Liberals.
