That Paris Hilton 2002 Glomesh Party Dress Is Officially On Trend Again

Anyone who follow the Kardashians in even the vaguest sense remembers when Kendall Jenner celebrated her birthday by replicating Paris Hilton‘s absolutely ICONIC 21st birthday outfit from 2002.

While the modern take on Paris’ party dress was frothed over by the entire internet, it didn’t really turn into a proper trend for months. Now though, loads of celebs are picking up what Kendall was putting down and bringing back that 00’s drapey glomesh style.

Here’s Emily Ratajkowski in gold:

Model Winnie Harlow killing it in red:

Even Paris revisited the trend for her 35th bday – also DAMN girl, props for looking this banging in the exact same style of dress at 35 as you did at 21. GOALS:

It’s not just reappearing in dress form, either. That slinky backless top thing everyone from Mandy Moore to Nicole Richie repped back in the day is making a strong return.

For a while there really weren’t many high street versions of this style hitting the market – HELLO, how are we supposed to try out a trend without some affordable versions so if we hate it in 3 months we don’t cry over the $500 we dropped?

Luckily, some brands have cottoned on and released fire ops for us all.

Princess Polly Foxy Glomesh Halter Top, $60

There you go, now all you’ve gotta do is call the paparazzi on yourself and you’re literally a reality star from 2002.
