OH BOY: Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Reboot Nabs ‘GoT’ Director To Defeat The Huns

Wahoo!
We truly are as tranquil as a forest, but on fire within as we wait for more information about the live-action reboot of ‘Mulan‘, which is THE BEST Disney movie (in this writer’s opinion, pls don’t get mad online thx).
We’ve been pretty much completely starved of info, until those awful rumours hit that it would all be white-washed nonsense and the lead character would be a white bloke living in China
DON’T PANIC; thankfully it was just a bad rumour, and we’ll be seeing a cast of talented Chinese actors, with a narrative following our fave heroine Hua Mulan (which is the name of the actual historical figure; Fa Mulan in the Disney film) taking her ailing father’s place in the Chinese Imperial Army
But now, we have a tantalising morsel of information that’s better than delicious breakfast porridge that’s happy to see ya.
Sony Pictures has nabbed Alex Graves to direct the film!
You might not know his name, but you might just know his work: he’s one of the directors of ‘Game of Thrones’. He directed the ‘The Mountain and the Viper’ episode, which featured one of the shows more iconic battle scenes: the fight between Oberyn Martell and Ser Gregor Clegane.
He’s also directed episodes of ‘Homeland‘, ‘Bloodline‘, and ‘Shameless’.
Anyhoooooo, that’s really the tiny snippet of information that’s available right now. Here’s a bunch of ‘Mulan‘ gifs for you, as a fun gift:
