OAK Release A Protein-Packed Milk Bev To Guzzle Post-Workout

Milk has really had a resurgence as of late.
It’s no longer considered a bad choice (no doubt thanks to choccie milk connoisseur Aaron Gocs) and we’re stoked about that.
There’s now a fresh new reason to wrap your fingers ’round an ice cold glass of the stuff: flavoured milk makers OAK are releasing a protein-packed sports recovery drink.
Aimed at fitness fanatics, OAK Plus boasts 30 grams of protein for muscle recovery, is low in fat and has reduced sugar (not to mention all that calcium which is A+ for your bones).
Flavours? Chocolate, Iced Coffee and Vanilla. Yum, yum, get in my tum.
“We know that lots of people already drink OAK chocolate milk after exercise because of the protein and nutritional advantages it has over water and other functional drinks,” Marketing Director Angela Burr says.

“OAK Plus tastes every bit as good as regular OAK but is designed specifically to refuel the body after a tough workout, with 30 grams of natural dairy protein for sustained energy and muscle recovery throughout the day.”

Some footy fellas have already taken a shining to the milky concoction, with none other than Power player Travis Boak chugging down one in the name of recovery:
a name + product combo that’d give even the most astute marketer an uncomfy hard on
The 500mL bevvy will be available Australia-wide in Coles and Woolies real soon, as well as at most service stations if you’re down for a roadie, for $3.90.
Line those stomach, folks!
