The stunning backdrop of Marrakech and the mesmerising curves Australian supermod Nicole Trunfio come together to great effect in the 20th anniversary campaign for Australian high street staple, Kookaï and their spring/summer ‘Arabesque‘ collection.
Shot last month by London-based lensman, James Meakin, and starring fellow model Illona Novacek, the campaign and collection take their cues from the architecture, colour and vibe of Moroccan life – think sweet tagines, mints teas and the kind of inspiration favoured by storied honorary Moroccan Yves Saint Laurent. There’s some killer accessories, high drama fringing, maxi volumes and enough swimwear to have you cursing our current climes. Happy 20th Birthday Kookaï! We want to go to there.
