Miranda Kerr Replaces Kate Moss As The Face Of Mango

Miranda Kerr can now add another impressive achievement to her resume – replacing Kate Moss as the face of Mango. The Spanish high street fashion retailer (not to be confused with the luscious orange-fleshed summer fruit) recently announced that the Australian beauty will take over the position held by Moss for the past three seasons just in time for the brand’s spring/summer 2013 campaign, which will undoubtedly bump Kerr up from her number seven spot on Forbes 2012 highest-earning model list.

This is only the latest example of the fashion industry’s obsession with the baby-faced model as she has been the ambassador for Prada, Maybelline New York and Levi’s (to name a few) as well as her seventh year in a row as a Victoria Secret Angel, earning her a whopping $4 million in the year up to May 2012.

Shot in New York by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the new Mango campaign will appear on television, billboards, printed press and online media.
