Miranda Kerr Named Australia’s Most Stylish Woman

Radiant human soundbite, Miranda Kerr, took out InStyle magazine and Audi’s Women of Style Awards’ Readers’ Choice Award for being Australia’s Most Stylish Woman last night, also taking out the “beauty” category (in a tie!) for her KORA Organics range of skin care and her ability to transition seamlessly from the cobra to downward facing dog poses.

Dressed in a Monroe-esque, Grecian Carla Zampatti gown and holding back tears, Miranda sprouted the usual truisms, thanking all her fellow nominees, including this pitch-perfect piece of bright-eyed feel good:

I feel that style is something – it’s an inner confidence that can really exude if you’re feeling good in your own skin and it’s not necessarily about what you’re wearing, although it does play a small part, but I feel the larger part of that is how you’re feeling on the inside. We don’t all have to be the same. We’re all unique and we all have different talents and we need to encourage that in each other.

I don’t know, Miranda, if I wanted to hear a fistful of empowering affirmations I’d just listen to an old Destiny’s Child song, or ask Jon Hamm.
