So Millie Bobby Brown has gone on a bit of a hair adventure this week, and as a 21-year-old professional writer, I obviously needed to do a deep dive into the hair choices of a 15-year-old.
The 15-year-old Stranger Things star is iconic and is already well on her way to becoming the Nat Portman of the 21st century. She’s wildly talented, isn’t focused on growing up too fast (but also isn’t acting like a total child either) and is honestly just a teen icon. She’s also no stranger to a drastic hair-change. From a full head-shave to multiple dye-jobs in one day, Millie’s scalp has seen some SHIT.
Her hair journey this week seemingly began at Dafne Evangelista Beauty Lounge in Miami, where she added some length and fresh highlights to brighten up her hair. So let’s all admire how ridiculously beautiful she looks and how sweet she is in the video posted by her stylist.

Okay cool, so she got highlights and some extensions. That seems normal enough, but it didn’t stop there.
In another photo, posted on the same day by YSV Salon Spa (also in Miami), Millie was spotted getting a full head of highlights and a fresh bob cut. Equally beautiful, I’m equally jealous of this look too, but I don’t understand why. Haircuts are expensive, not to mention extensions. Why would you sit in a chair for hours only to get it re-done hours later?
Two drastic hair changes in one day is a lot, but at least we know she’s blonde now, right? Wrong.
Just when I thought I’d worked it out and finally knew what Millie Bobby Brown’s hair actually looks like right now, she dropped the following Instagram photo and my confusion started all over again.
At an event for her recent Florence By Mills beauty brand, Millie showed off slightly shorter, slightly blonder locks than the OG photo, but not quite as short or blonde as the second salon visit. So… did she manage to fit a third salon visit in there sometime this week?
As a woman who avoids the hairdresser at all costs, I can assure you that each of these haircuts would set the average gal back at least a few hundred dollars. So either MBB copped a celebrity freebie, or is just living her best rich 15-year-old life and splurging on more trips to the salon in one week than I have in a year.
At 15-years-old, I was wearing a Marilyn Manson hoodie and way, way too much eyeliner. Meanwhile, Millie Bobbie Brown is out there looking like a god damn QUEEN.
