Cool as hell actor Millie Bobby Brown launched her vegan and cruelty-free beauty and skincare range earlier this week. It’s called Florence by Mills, and it’s yet another reason to love the Stranger Things star.
Considering Brown’s already spent a good chunk of her tween and teen years sitting in makeup she’s the perfect person to help introduce the youngins to beauty. I sure as hell could’ve used her help back in the day re: oily stressed out skin with lots and lots of acne.
Florence By Mills, named after her great-grandmama, caters to teens and keeps it clean. So no parabens, sulphates, dyes, animal testing, and animal by-products. Instead, it’s all about the vitamins, antioxidants, and botanicals. In honour of Brown’s late friend Liv, the beauty and skincare range also supports the Olivia Hope Foundation to continue the fight against childhood cancers.
Over the past couple of days, Florence By Mills has posted a heap of its products to Instagram to keep the hype going. Think face masks, moisturisers, and cleaning gels.
Also, please look at these gel pads in the shape of a widdle whale. It’s called Swimming Under The Eye Gel Pads and they’re so cute.
And this fabulous Mind Glowing Peel Off Mask.
In a new interview with Teen Vogue, Brown said she launched the range because she believes there’s a “void in the market for young people.”
“My main thing was affordability,” she continued. “I wanted people to actually be able to buy my products. I’m not an expert on skin care. I’m not a makeup artist. I’m an actor. But I really wanted to create something that people can just use. And I can use as well. I just wanted to talk to young people and say, here’s a better option for you.”
She also shared a couple of her favourite products from the range like the Look Alive Eye Balm. Love the name.
Brown also recommends the Dreamy Dew Moisturiser for peak hydration and the Get That Grime Face Scrub
I have the driest lips and need this now.
Concealers come in a heap of skin tones too.
