Melbourne Menswear Duo Tipped The Next Big Thing At LMFF

Melbourne menswear duo From Britten have taken away this year’s prestigious National Designer Award at a breakfast-at-Tiffany’s themed breakfast at Tiffany’s this morning.

Presented by Graeme Lewsey of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the boys won a $10,000 disappointingly-not-novelty-sized cheque, ongoing business and banking support (ie. tips on how to spend it) plus a shiny trophy, edging out a talented field of finalists including Michael Lo Sordo, Lui Hon, Kathryn Beker and Livia Arena.

A sea of well-dressed #fashun people were there to hover about and sip Tiffany’s finest blood orange juice during the announcement including LMFF special guest international uber babe Barbara Palvin, Vogue‘s street style-magnet Christine Centenera and master of prints Mary Katrantzou.

Congrats to Tim and Alex of From Britten.
